Today the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has issued a warning about MMC Maxman IV Erection Enhancer capsules after finding it contained prescription only medications.
As noted on the TGA website:
[box type=”alert” size=”large” style=”rounded” border=”full”]The TGA has tested MMC Maxman IV Erection Enhancer capsules and found that:
- it contains the undeclared prescription substance sildenafil – despite the product label claim that it is made of herbal ingredients and contains no medicines.
- consumers are advised that sildenafil is a prescription-only medicine (which is the active ingredient in Viagra).
The commercial supply of MMC Maxman IV Erection Enhancer capsules is illegal.
MMC Maxman IV Erection Enhancer capsules have not been assessed by the TGA for quality, safety or efficacy as required under Australian legislation, and the place of manufacture is not approved by the TGA.

Sildenafil is the active ingredient found in the drug Viagra.
If you have taken Maxman IV it’s important to be aware that it can interact with other medications that could lead to low blood pressure, fainting and in rare cases sudden cardiac death.
Some medications use to treat HIV infection can block the break down of sildenafil leading to increased risk of side effects.
For detailed information about interactions between Viagra and other medications read my post :
Amyl, Viagra & Blood Pressure Medicine Interactions.
If you have purchased Maxman IV over the internet it’s best to not take it and see your doctor. There are many great treatments available for erection problems and the diseases that can cause it.
Yours in good health.
