I have recently discovered this well balanced and honest report on PrEP for HIV prevention, also known as Truvada.
Produced by The Feed @ SBS Australia, I’m pleased to see PrEP information given in a clear, non judgemental non hyped way.
For those in Australia there are currently a number of PrEP studies that are currently running and starting:
- In NSW is The EPIC Study
- In VIC is The PrEPx Trial
- There is also a PrEP Study in operation in Queensland
If you are outside these states PrEP can also be accessed from overseas when prescribed by an Australian doctor. You can access further information via PrEP Access Now.
