Gidday there Guys,
Today I wanted to share with you an interview with a wonderful bear, Scott Quattrone. Scott and I seemed to have similar Facebook friends, as he was frequently popping up in my Facebook feed. His story is interesting in that he’s been married, he’s a very proud dad and also a veteran of the Afghanistan war. I had to share Scott’s story. As an introduction this is his Facebook welcome post.
I’m a father of one who happens to be homosexual. I have a husband named Rocco. Yes that is his real name. We’ve been together for over seven years now. Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile.
I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to interview this great man. Click the play button to listen now.
As mentioned in the interview be sure to check out this helpful book : Daddy’s Roommate by Michael Willhoite
Here are three resources other married gay men have told me were very useful:
Gay and Married Men’s Association NSW: “a support group for men who are or have been involved in a long-term heterosexual relationship, and who are coming to terms with their sexual attraction to other men”
Gay Married: a website “for men and women who are gay, lesbian or bisexual and married to (or in a relationship with) someone of the opposite sex.”
Coming Out, Staying Out: An interesting blog from a previously married man who came out a 48.
I hope you have enjoyed this interview. Scott can be contacted via facebook: Scott Quattrone’s Facebook page.
Yours in great health.
Dr George
